Colin Robinson serves as the Chair of GVF MRA Working Group and is a lifetime member of the IEEE and a NARTE Certified EMC Engineer. Mr. Robinson has over thirty years of experience in the design, test and certification of an extensive range of antenna systems employed in aircraft, marine, terrestrial, and spacecraft communication application with leading aerospace organizations including the Royal Aircraft Establishment (RAE Farnborough UK now DERA), Boeing Company, Emerson & Cuming (a W.R Grace Company), and General Dynamics Satcom Technologies.
Most recently, Mr. Robinson’s focus has been directed towards the satellite communications sector regarding VSAT antenna systems. Mr. Robinson has been involved with the type approval of close to one hundred VSAT antenna systems for satellite operators locate in the USA and throughout Europe and Asia. Mr. Robinson has led the effort that resulted in the generator of a number of the GVF MRA documents including the GVF-101, GVF-104 and GVF-105 documents.
Mr. Robinson is an Authorized Test Entity (ATE) for the Global VSAT Forum. He is the holder of several US patents related to VSAT antenna systems. He received his Higher National Certificate (HNC-EE) from the Ministry of Aviation College in the UK (US Equivalence BSEE).

Joined Rohde & Schwarz in 2008, Benjamin had different roles in the company. Started as service technician for terrestrial transmitters he became a supply chain project manager after the graduation to bachelor of business and engineering. After leading different international customer projects, he graduated as master of management in sales and marketing and moved to the satellite intelligence department in January 2022 as solution manager for SatCom Monitoring.

Scott Hunter is the Operations Leader for UL’s RTP Consumer, Medical, IT customer operating unit, overseeing the EMC and Environmental labs. He has worked for UL for over 22 years and served in various capacities with the company. Scott has worked as a NEBS, EMC and OSP compliance engineer in the Telecommunication Industry. From 2010 until 2017 he ran the Electric Meter Performance Verification program and from 2018-2021 he was in Business Development for UL’s Energy and Industrial Automation Customer Operation Unit. He has been involved with EMC and NEBS since 2000 along with the developing the Outside Plant (OSP) and Electricity Meter Verification programs at the RTP office. Additionally, he is the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for NEBS, OSP and the Electric Meter Verification programs.
Scott holds a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from North Carolina State University.
